The next generation: the new next125 products for 2024

Herrieden, 15.04.2024

Timeless and elegant. Authentic and original. Precise and emotional. These are just a few of the attributes that premium brand next125 combines. As part of a two-year product cycle, the kitchen furniture manufacturer from Southern Germany is presenting the brand’s new products at EuroCucina 2024. International visitors can experience first-hand the emotions that kitchens can convey.

Under the motto ‘Feel at Home’, Schüller Möbelwerk KG will be welcoming design and architecture enthusiasts to this year’s EuroCucina trade fair in Milan. Over a 580-m² exhibition space, the company will be showcasing its range of services as one of the top five European kitchen furniture manufacturers.

THE ESSENTIALS ARE WHAT PERSONALITY IS MADE OF. THE FOCUS IS ON THOSE ESSENTIALS.

The new generation of products from next125 presents meaningful creations designed for use in everyday life that fit in perfectly with next125’s design philosophy. Everything that sets a next125 product apart follows a clear line inspired by the Bauhaus movement: a paring-down to the essentials and a timeless design that is inextricably linked to the emotion of authenticity. Based on this consistent design philosophy, the premium brand next125 is defined by seven principles: precision, elegance, creativity, minimalism, functionality, emotion and technology. Not least, the two-year development cycle guarantees that new next125 products reach the necessary level of maturity.

WHAT’S NEW FROM NEXT125

This year, the brand’s creativity reveals itself in new surfaces. The 2024 next125 collection brings the unexpected into the kitchen with its new bronze-tinted mirrored glass. A highquality front that embellishes any room and conveys a really special feel. Thanks to Tip-On technology, head-turning accents can be set without the need for handles. Anything that looks good deserves a mirror and that also applies to interiors. This is precisely why this high-quality front forms the face of the new next125 campaign ‘The Fireplace’. It perfectly embodies the kitchen’s ability to arouse emotions and take your breath away.

The new onyx black stained front adds a popular look to the next125 range that can be perfectly combined with any colour. What’s the trick? Stained wood adds more depth and is considerably more resistant than classic veneered wood, making this front ideal for regular use.

Designed to be both sustainable and visually appealing: the new linoleum fronts are available in three colours (natural grey, walnut brown and olive green). Here, a board made entirely of recycled wood-based materials is fully enveloped in linoleum. This means that the edges and the interior/exterior surfaces of the front are all in the same material. Linoleum has the natural composition of linseed oil, resins, wood flour and limestone powder to thank for its many positive properties and unique appearance.

Particularly beautiful new details in terms of surfaces are the fine-textured reeded glass for glass display units and sand-textured ceramic for the whole front range. The fine texture of these fronts immediately gives an impression of quality and extravagance that carries over to the entire kitchen design – authentic kitchens at their best! The 2024 collection offers a perfectly coordinated selection of customisation options that adopt and expand on next125’s design philosophy.

With our fronts for tall wine cooler units, next125 provides the option of harmoniously integrating built-in appliances with glass doors into the overall picture. One special feature of the improvements in the 2024 next125 collection is the fronts in selected ranges that have been adapted to these appliances with a one-piece front design. With no cut edges, a pure, smooth appearance is guaranteed and the next125 design principle of minimalism is applied. The two new adjoining tables are a highlight of the 2024 next125 collection. Their round shape really makes them stand out and they feel great to the touch thanks to their Systemo tabletops. With a powder-coated metal foot in onyx black or a matt velvet lacquered foot, the sky’s the limit when it comes to their uses. Whether used as a practical storage space or a stylish decorative feature, these all-rounders fit perfectly in any kitchen.

The redesigned colour concept has gained three contemporary colours. Pebble grey, which is also available as a carcase colour, is a calm neutral shade that is great for combining with other colours or for making an intentionally subtle statement. Quite the opposite of subtle is the new colour ultramarine. This bold colour makes an impressive statement. Whether as an accent or a main colour, you can’t miss ultramarine! With its natural appearance and refined elegance, aubergine adds a touch of timeless warmth to living spaces, creating an ideal balance in the next125 colour concept and bringing the number of available colours up to 20. The clean, minimalist lines of next125 kitchens ensure timeless elegance. Our new floor-level fronts contribute to this by hiding the plinth under the carcase. This change is available as an additional option for hinged doors on selected base and tall units.

The pocket system also has a new addition: this year next125 has introduced units that are specially designed to be fitted above the system. When combined with the new front-flush soffits, a uniform finish is created from floor to ceiling.

Smaller living spaces demand more storage solutions. Together with the growing demand for slimmer worktops and lower plinth heights, this has led to greater carcase heights. In the 2024 next125 collection, the carcase height of 81.25 cm will be fully integrated into plans and can be fitted with all kinds of handles.

Designed for maximum versatility, next125 presents the ideal solution for arranging the workspace and adds a further design feature to the kitchen with its onyx black worktop storage rack. The storage rack is especially useful when planning kitchen islands. It creates storage space where recess solutions are not an option. This elegant functional top unit with interchangeable interior inserts keeps spices, utensils, knives and even a dispenser for cling film or foil nice and tidy and close at hand just above the worktop. There’s even a plug socket. The top unit is available in both low (one-tier) and high (two-tier) models.

Further additions to the area of storage space and organisation are the new 75-cm-wide tall and top units. Following the trend towards larger refrigerators, next125 now offers a range of units. This enables the planning of larger fridge-freezers and provides an interesting alternative to side-by-side appliances.

Furthermore, new kitchen accessories are available to help with everyday tasks. The new range includes two sets of three chopping boards made of high-quality ash or maple, accompanied by an elegant metal tray containing a removable wooden board. Branding with the next125 logo adds the finishing touch to the accessories.

The panel system has also been given some new features: a useful dispenser for cling film or foil, an innovative holder for a plant pot with an irrigation system, an info board with a shelf and a writing surface, a storage space for dishwashing utensils and a wine rack. The new additions perfectly match the design language of our panel systems while ensuring tidiness and enhancing the aesthetics.

THE COMPREHENSIVE CONCEPT OF NEXT125

The Systemo product range will also be presenting its new products in Milan. Authentic materials perfect for authentic kitchens – thanks to their high quality, the worktops and surfaces from Schüller Möbelwerk KG’s sub-brand Systemo perfectly complement premium brand next125. The main highlight is a totally new material in the Systemo collection – natural stone.

Each and every piece is unique with an astounding natural beauty, robustness and resistance. Formed over millions of years, the stone is extracted from quarries in large blocks and processed to the highest standards. As well as this special feature, Systemo will be presenting new decors for the existing materials in its surface range, providing even more design and customisation options for kitchen planning. Relating to the new brand campaign in collaboration with Francis Kéré, next125 is offering its retail partners a comprehensive marketing package. This includes POS material and photos, as well as videos and texts of varying lengths that are ready for use on social media channels. To make planning easier, next125 provides a media configurator with ready-made advertising templates that can be easily customised by retail partners.

THE BRAND VALUES

In times shaped by geopolitical and economic factors, which are constantly evolving and cannot be influenced, next125 continues to stand for authenticity and originality, and to put forward the best arguments.

next125 is a design language characterised by cubic planning and a clear 12.5-cm grid, which is perfected with authentic materials that do not compromise on functionality, and special details that clearly set each kitchen or piece of furniture apart and enable it to hold its own. What’s important to Schüller as a company is to have a high in-house production quota, which guarantees a seamless supply chain, less dependence on suppliers, and consistent quality.

The fact that next125 is revolutionising the market far away from the big city has turned out to be a major advantage. In viticulture, people talk about native grape varieties flourishing in their own terroir – and only there – as they are able to grow in peace, unaffected by external influences. Ongoing investment in the ultra-modern production facilities in Herrieden lays the foundations for success and further expansion – all under the motto ‘Feel at Home’.

Bold yet gracious, the extraordinary next125 kitchen in ultramarine matt velvet is a stunning eye-catcher. The colour helps to add variety to planning without being too overpowering. The new option of floor-level fronts emphasises the cubic look of the island. The stylish glass display wall units with their reeded glass fronts create an impressive picture above the floor units. Despite the deep-blue front on the kitchen island, the next125 adjoining table is an alluring feature in the overall picture.

The new next125 adjoining table also makes a statement. The clean lines of the kitchen are stylishly interrupted by the round tabletop. This makes the layout more casual and adds a further design feature. As a practical worktop and storage space, or simply a design feature, the next125 adjoining table is a real all-rounder.

The new glass display wall units with their reeded glass fronts give the kitchen its very own character. Depending on the viewing angle and how the light falls, the fine lines on the glass create a Moiré pattern. Although you can make out outlines through the glass, the contents of the wall units are concealed. This creates a secretive effect, the elegance of which is further highlighted by the sophisticated onyx black frames.

The combination of flawless aesthetics and high-end design is conveyed by the range of emotions that the new next125 mirrored glass front evokes. The kitchen shown here is the next125 campaign motif ‘The Fireplace’, created in collaboration with Francis Kéré. The glass on the front absorbs the surrounding light and reflects it back into the room to create a unique atmosphere. This mirror effect makes the surrounding area look larger and more spacious, but at the same time the fronts appear to fully absorb it.
